Fit

Around the hand and wrist, over the thumb.

The band wraps around your hand and wrist with the light panel on the inside. A narrow elastic loop goes over your thumb so it doesn't twist, and the hook-and-loop closure lets you choose how snug it feels.

  • About 40 × 10.5 cm, measured flat

That's 15.7 × 4.1 in. Check it against your hand and wrist before you order.

  • Light panel on the inside

48 LEDs sit behind a clear window facing your skin.

  • Controls on the outside

Two buttons on the back of the band, easy to reach.

How to use

Three steps, two buttons.

  1. A thumb slipped through the wrap's elastic loop, with the open band and its LED panel hanging below.

Step 1: Thumb through the loop

Slip your thumb through the elastic loop, with the LED side of the band facing your skin.

  2. One hand pressing the wrap's end flat to fasten it around the other hand and wrist.

    Step 2: Wrap and press

Wrap the band around your hand and wrist, then press the end flat so it feels secure but not tight.

  3. A fingertip pressing the flame-and-power key on the wrap's controller.

    Step 3: Press to start

Press the power button. Each press moves through three levels; hold it for three seconds to switch off. The second button changes the light mode, and the wrap switches itself off after 20 minutes.

A quick overview. Read the included instructions before first use.

Our approach

Clear about what it is, and what it isn't.

You've probably seen bigger promises. We'd rather you buy knowing exactly what arrives.

What we can tell you

  • It has 48 LEDs (660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared), two buttons, three levels and four light modes.
  • It switches itself off after 20 minutes.
  • It runs on a built-in battery and charges by USB-C.
  • A real person answers at support@phosvena.com.

What we won't claim

  • That it treats, cures or prevents any medical condition.
  • Numbers we haven't measured on our unit, such as heat output or battery runtime.
  • That it's a brace, a splint or a heating pad.
  • Reviews or ratings we haven't received.

Questions

Before you choose.

How is it worn?

Slip your thumb through the elastic loop with the LED side facing your skin, wrap the band around your hand and wrist, and press the end flat. The hook-and-loop closure lets you choose how snug it feels.

What do the two buttons do?

One switches the wrap on and steps through three levels, shown by a blue, green or red light. Hold it for three seconds to switch off. The other changes the light mode: steady, breathe, 10 Hz or 40 Hz pulse.

How long is a session?

It switches itself off after 20 minutes. Follow the included instructions for how often to use it.

How do I charge it?

It has a built-in rechargeable battery and charges through its USB-C port with the included cable. A red indicator means the battery is low. A wall adapter isn't listed in the box, so use a USB power adapter you already have.

Is it a treatment for my condition?

We don't claim it treats, cures or prevents any condition, and it isn't a replacement for care your clinician has recommended. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, have a light-sensitive condition, or aren't sure whether a light device suits you, talk to your doctor before use.
