Full description, care and safety

Red and near-infrared light, wrapped around your wrist

Your wrists do a lot of quiet work: typing, gripping, lifting, scrolling, making. TheraCuff gives them a simple, cordless routine. It holds 48 red and near-infrared LEDs against your wrist, stays in place with an elastic thumb loop, and switches itself off after 20 minutes.

What you get

  • 48 red and near-infrared LEDs. They sit behind a clear window on the inside of the band, facing your skin. Near-infrared is hard to see, so a dimmer glow from part of the panel can be normal.
  • Cordless, with USB-C charging. A built-in rechargeable battery means no cable tying you to a wall during a session, so you can sit, read or rest wherever you're comfortable.
  • Two buttons, no app. One button switches it on and steps through three levels, shown by a blue, green or red indicator. The other cycles four light modes: steady, breathe, 10 Hz and 40 Hz.
  • A 20-minute auto-off. Start a session and stop watching the clock. TheraCuff turns itself off after 20 minutes, which makes it easy to fit around a coffee or an episode.
  • Stays where you put it. A hook-and-loop closure adjusts around your wrist, and an elastic loop over the thumb keeps the panel in place.

How it works

Choose a level and a mode, and the LEDs shine red and near-infrared light onto your wrist until the 20-minute timer ends. To stop early, hold the power button for three seconds. It's a light device, not a brace or splint, so it isn't designed to hold your wrist still.

Fit and use

Wrap the band around your wrist with the light panel facing your skin, slip the elastic loop over your thumb, and fasten the closure so it feels secure but not tight. Laid flat, the band measures about 15.7 × 4.1 in (40 × 10.5 cm). Not sure it will fit? Measure around your wrist and email support@phosvena.com before you order.

Before you buy

In the box: the TheraCuff wrap, a USB charging cable and an instruction manual. A wall adapter isn't included, so use a USB power adapter you already own.

We don't claim TheraCuff treats, cures or prevents any condition, and it isn't a replacement for care your clinician has recommended. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, have a light-sensitive condition, or aren't sure a light device suits you, talk to your doctor before use.

Safety

  • Don't look directly into the LEDs or shine them toward anyone's eyes.
  • Use on clean, unbroken skin. Don't place it over a wound, rash or irritated skin.
  • Stop using it and contact us if you notice discomfort, redness that doesn't fade, or any other unexpected reaction.
  • Don't use or charge it if the wrap, cable or battery looks damaged or swollen, or feels unusually hot.
  • Keep it dry. Don't wear it in the bath or shower.
  • Keep the wrap and cable away from children and pets.

  • Ends on its own — after 20 minutes, no timer to set
  • Stays in place — the thumb loop holds it while they read, watch or sip coffee
  • Nothing to download — no app, no account

What to expect

What a session looks like.

We can't tell you how 20 minutes will feel, because your hands aren't ours. Here's what you'll see.

  • It lights up

Button ring glows blue, green or red for the level. A red glow shows at the band's edges in a dim room.

  • Some LEDs look faint

850 nm near-infrared is hard to see. That's normal.

  • 20 minutes, then off

Charge by USB-C when the battery light shows red.

Why it's easy to live with

Small details, so it's easy to keep up.

  • A fingertip pressing the flame button on the TheraCuff controller, worn on the back of the hand. Illustrative image.

    20-minute auto-off

Press once and forget the clock. Every session ends on its own; hold 3 seconds to stop early.

  • The TheraCuff wrap laid flat twice: outside with the two-button controller, and inside with the LED window, hook panel and elastic thumb loop. Illustrative image.

    Elastic thumb loop

Keeps the band from twisting, so you can read, scroll or sip coffee while it runs.

    Two buttons, no app

Nothing to download or pair, so it's as easy on day 60 as on day one.
